I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude, especially to Dr. Tomáš Záhor, who took me under his wing after the terrible ordeal I went through with recurring inflammation of the colon. During our first meeting before the surgery, we talked man-to-man; he explained everything to me, and I knew exactly what I was getting into. 

I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the nurses in Ward B of the surgical department, where I was hospitalized.

Those girls were right where they belonged, and I felt like I was in a dream. 

And I can’t forget the ICU—everyone there was so cheerful. I take my hat off to them for the work they do. It felt like a real family atmosphere, thanks to everyone I met.

I have taken the liberty of including a brief account of my hospital stay in the attachment. 

Once again, I would like to thank Na Františku Hospital for performing my colon surgery so smoothly. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Zapletal and the nurse who was on duty with him on Friday, April 3, 2026.

My son (10 years old) had an accident that evening in which he broke both of his front teeth, and on the way to the hospital we were very worried about how things would go. Not only were we seen almost immediately, but everyone was very kind to us. The doctor explained everything to my son, spoke to him gently the whole time, and reassured him when he started to cry. I also appreciate that he immediately calmed me down as well, because even though it might not have shown, I was under terrible stress. 

According to our dentist, he was treated very well; we have a dental restoration scheduled for today, and I’m sure it will go well. 

Unfortunately, we’ve already encountered all sorts of things in Prague’s emergency rooms (and other facilities). I come from a family of doctors, so I know it’s not an easy job—especially on a holiday evening—which is why I particularly appreciate such a kind and compassionate approach.

Not only does she perform her surgical work with great professionalism, but she is also very kind, humorous, and empathetic. I see the greatest value in her work in the fact that she is able to explain her procedures to patients and is understanding of their anxiety. My thanks also go to all your staff in the Department of Surgery; during my postoperative care, I encountered very pleasant, considerate, and professional staff who definitely contributed to my quick recovery.

I would like to use this message to share my thoughts on my stay in the plastic surgery department. I have undergone several surgeries so far, but my experience with this department is truly commendable.

My procedure was performed on Monday, October 27. It was wrist plastic surgery under local anesthesia. All the staff who took care of me before and after the procedure truly deserve recognition and thanks; everyone was absolutely professional. However, the person who deserves my greatest thanks and praise is Dr. Englcová. Her flawless work from start to finish is truly amazing. Her incredible skills, attitude, concern, and determination to help me with my long-standing problem truly amazed me and gave me peace of mind that someone would finally help me. And indeed! What Dr. Englcová demonstrated in the operating room was incredible; those aren’t pleasant moments, but in her hands I felt truly at ease!!! She reassured me and kept me informed throughout the surgery, and overall, I felt good being in her care. After the planned procedure, she examined the tendons and the spaces between them and even found another issue, which she promptly resolved. Throughout the entire procedure, she worked like a perfect machine. And the scar?? Almost invisible, meticulously finished right down to the very end. She gave me peace of mind during the surgery. The doctor truly deserves my utmost admiration and my heartfelt thanks, which I will, of course, convey to her in person as well.

If healthcare worked this well across the board—just like plastic surgery at your clinic under Dr. Englcová’s care—then perhaps all patients would actually look forward to their hospital stay…

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team of nurses, the head nurse, and the nursing assistants in Surgical Ward A. My thanks also go to Dr. Dvořáčková, Ms. Barbora Fišerová, and Prof. Martin Matoulek, who are helping me and my daughter prepare for bariatric surgery. I have been hospitalized here with my daughter from January 22 to February 5, 2026; my daughter has severe autism along with many other health complications. The staff there treats us—especially my daughter—with love; they devote themselves to her and are full of smiles, kindness, and patience. I know this won’t help the girls financially, but at least it might warm their hearts. Thank you all so much once again.

The doctor and the nurse did a great job! 

Such an incredibly caring approach! After I was admitted to the clinic, they just asked a quick question about allergies and got right to work. They kept me informed the whole time about what was going to happen and what I should and shouldn’t do—they were so kind to me! The experience at your clinic is a world apart from other emergency rooms. Dr. Kováčová and the nurse who assisted her were absolutely amazing! Thank you for running such a professional clinic!!!

Please allow me to thank you for the treatment I received yesterday at your dental emergency clinic. I was very pleasantly surprised by the attitude of Dr. Duc Anh Le and his nurse. The treatment was very professional, and their approach to patients was incredibly kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, I don’t know the nurse’s name, so please thank her for me. I am a nurse myself, and the dedication and efficiency with which they cared for me and the other patients is truly remarkable.
