Na Františku Hospital was part of the activated trauma plan

On Tuesday, January 13, the trauma plan was activated in the early morning hours in response to the severe ice storm that hit Prague and the surrounding area. Na Františku Hospital joined this emergency response effort to handle the extremely high number of patients with injuries.

The hospital’s emergency department operated at increased capacity and actively contributed to the smooth treatment of patients in cooperation with the Prague Emergency Medical Service and other healthcare facilities in the city.

Activating the trauma plan made it possible to organize care effectively, prioritize acute cases, and ensure the safe operation of healthcare facilities in a situation where the number of patients treated significantly exceeded normal levels.

Na Františku Hospital would like to thank all doctors, nurses, orderlies, and other staff members for their professionalism, dedication, and teamwork, which made it possible to manage this exceptionally challenging situation.
