As of April, the rehabilitation and orthopedic departments of Nemocnice Na Františku have new chief physician leadership. We invite you to meet MUDr. Irena Koudelková and MUDr. Miroslav Sinkule.
MUDr. Irena Koudelková has returned to lead the NNF rehabilitation department after nearly 15 years. This time, she is at the Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine, which has been expanded to include an inpatient unit for subsequent rehabilitation care, featuring modern electrotherapy and a team of enthusiastic colleagues, physiotherapists, and nursing staff.
MUDr. Koudelková aims to share her extensive experience, acquired from her professional beginnings at the Clinic of Rehabilitation Medicine at FNKV, her leadership of the rehabilitation department at the Institute of Rheumatology, her tenure as a university representative for Prof. Kolář at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University, FN Motol, as well as from a long-term work stay in the Middle East and many years of practice at Vrčovice Hospital.
MUDr. Miroslav Sinkule joined NNF in 2004. Initially, he served as Deputy Chief Physician of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System, and now holds the position of Chief Physician. He gained experience, among other places, at the orthopedic-traumatology department of Klaudiánova Hospital Mladá Boleslav and during professional internships abroad, for example, in Germany and the USA. He also served as a club doctor for AC Sparta Prague, FK Mladá Boleslav, and as a physician for the men's national basketball team.
In his orthopedic practice, he specializes primarily in endoprosthetics, including hip, knee, and shoulder joint replacements, ligament reconstruction, surgical treatment of chondral defects using the latest methods (chondrotissue), and comprehensive traumatology of the musculoskeletal system.
