Blood draws are now available at the Palacký Clinic. NNF is opening a new blood draw site in April

Starting in April, patients in central Prague will have another option for having blood drawn or submitting biological samples for laboratory testing. Na Františku Hospital is opening a new collection site at the Palackého Polyclinic, which will operate on a walk-in basis. Simply come during opening hours.

The testing site at the Palackého Polyclinic in Prague 1 will open on April 1, 2025, and will serve anyone who needs laboratory testing. Patients with a doctor’s referral will have their tests covered by health insurance, while self-pay patients can choose from a selection of laboratory tests and pay for them themselves.

All samples will be analyzed by the accredited laboratory at Na Františku Hospital, which uses state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and meets the highest quality standards. “We expect that the testing site will primarily serve patients with referrals from general practitioners and outpatient specialists at the Palacký Polyclinic. However, patients with referrals from any other doctor or healthcare facility are, of course, also welcome to use the testing site’s services,” said Michal Müller, Prague 1 Councilor for Health.

The testing site is located on the 3rd floor of the Palacký Health Center, Entrance B; for easier navigation, the route will be marked with directional signs. Testing will take place every weekday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

April will be a trial period; starting in May 2025, the testing site will begin full-scale operations. The expansion of testing services to the Palacký Polyclinic is another step toward improving access to healthcare in the center of Prague.
