Throughout our hospital grounds, you will see posters and flyers promoting the upcoming Proběhni.se 2019 charity event, which we have decided to support and publicize not only to our own employees but also to the general public.

Last year, the Foundation partnered with the Raul agency (Jizerská 50, Prague Mayor’s Office) to launch the pilot edition of the Proběhni.se event – Run for Your Heart – in Kunratice Forest, starting at IKEM, with two routes (short and long loops), and the participation of doctors from IKEM (free on-site screenings—heart, blood pressure, respiratory tract, BMI, ECG, cholesterol, etc.—everything that can be quickly performed in the tents of the screening village).

The Czech Heart Foundation specializes in heart disease and carries out activities both in the Czech Republic and abroad. It works closely with leading Czech experts in the field of cardiology—Prof. Josef Kautzner, M.D., Ph.D., and Prof. Miloš Táborský, M.D., Ph.D.
This year’s race will take place on April 13, 2019, on the large or small loop in Kunratický Forest. By participating, we’ll be supporting a good cause, and we can get a free checkup and learn all sorts of new things – Why run?
