In recent weeks, Na Františku Hospital, in cooperation with the Prague 1 district, has set up a vaccination site for administering COVID-19 vaccines. Currently, seniors, outpatient physicians, and members of the integrated emergency response system are receiving vaccinations there.
A mobile vaccination team has also been established to administer vaccines outside the hospital premises. “We have administered over two thousand vaccines so far. We were among the first to vaccinate residents of nursing homes in Prague 1, but we are also vaccinating seniors from other city districts. Today we are beginning to vaccinate immobile patients over the age of 80 in their homes,” said Hana Veselá, head nurse and vaccination coordinator at Na Františku Hospital.
According to the Ministry of Health’s vaccination plan, seniors aged 80 and older are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine; starting March 1, seniors aged 70 and older and education professionals will also be eligible. Those interested in getting vaccinated at Na Františku Hospital must register through the Central Reservation System.
