It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our esteemed colleague, Dr. Vladimír Juřina, who died suddenly on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the age of 55.
He has worked at Na Františku Hospital since 1995, initially as a physician in the intensive care unit. In 2004, he became the hospital’s spokesperson and head of the health insurance department, a position he has held ever since. For a time, he also served as a physician in the pain management clinic. During his time at our hospital, he was appointed several times to serve as acting deputy director for curative and preventive care, and over the past six years he has also participated in clinical trials of medications.
We will miss him very much.
