A meeting of Prague-based gynecologists in private practice was held on Tuesday in the historic reception areas of our hospital.
Dr. Filip Hron, head of the gynecology department, presented to the attending physicians the services our medical facility can provide to their patients, particularly in the areas of surgical procedures and specialized examinations. Those present also had the opportunity to learn about the hospital’s history.
The introductory presentation on healthcare services and the new gynecology department was followed by a series of expert lectures by selected specialists in the fields of gynecology and obstetrics.
The event was held under the patronage of Mayor Bohuslav Svoboda, M.D., Ph.D., and Vladimír Dvořák, M.D., Ph.D., President of the Czech Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
The visitors were welcomed on behalf of the hospital by Director David Erhart, M.D., and speaking on behalf of the hospital’s founding authority, the Prague 1 City District, was Michal Müller, M.A., the councilor for health and the Na Františku Hospital.
Another distinguished guest was Prof. Ladislav Krofta, MD, PhD, MBA, Deputy Director of the Institute for the Care of Mother and Child, who officially announced the partnership between NNF and the Institute. The Institute for the Care of Mother and Child in Prague 4-Podolí will provide care to our patients in the event of complications during pregnancy. Another area of cooperation will be the care of patients with urinary incontinence.
