Department of Radiology

In the Radiology Department, we performdiagnostic imaging examinationsusingX-rays(RTG),ultrasound(sonography), andCT scans. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including a cutting-edge Siemens SOMATOM Drive CT scanner with high resolution, which enables highly accurate diagnoses through precise 3D reconstructions.

The department operates around the clock and provides services not only to inpatients but also to outpatients who come with a referral from other healthcare facilities or from their primary care physicians’ offices.

All examinations require a referral form that has been properly completed by the referring physician, including the patient’s identification, a description and justification of the requested examination, and—in the case of contrast-enhanced examinations—a history of allergies and current renal function values (creatinine levels).

Routine plain X-ray examinations (e.g., X-rays of the upper and lower extremities, spine, and chest) are performed without an appointment. An appointment is required for intravenous urograms (IVU), fluoroscopic examinations of the digestive tract, ultrasounds, and CT scans.

We always try to offer patients the earliest possible appointment. Our wait times are usually shorter than those at larger medical facilities.
