Waiting times

We believe that every patient should have prompt access to treatment, which is why we strive to minimize wait times for scheduled surgeries. We aim to schedule most procedures without unnecessary delay—so that treatment can provide relief from symptoms and allow patients to return to their normal lives as soon as possible.

We perform arthroscopic procedures within 3 to 5 weeks of your first visit to our clinic. Total joint replacements (TJR) are usually performed within 4 to 5 months, while other elective procedures are performed within 1 to 2 months on average.

Thanks to careful coordination of outpatient services, operating rooms, and follow-up care, we are able to offer significantly shorter wait times than is typical in this region. Another advantage is the ability to seamlessly continue post-operative care in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation department, located right within the hospital, which significantly streamlines the entire treatment process.

Rehabilitation Care

If interested, our patients can undergo inpatient rehabilitation treatment directly at our hospital in the Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine, following a referral from our orthopedic department.

The Rehabilitation Department offers comprehensive rehabilitation programs designed to maximize recovery of the musculoskeletal system and enable patients to return to their normal lives as quickly as possible. You can learn more about rehabilitation care on thispage.

Rooms

The ward has standard double and triple rooms, as well as one deluxe single room. Each room is equipped with new electric adjustable beds and nightstands.

Immediately after surgery, patients are taken to a recovery room, where they are under constant supervision and monitoring.

Following major joint replacements or the treatment of severe trauma, patients are initially admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after surgery. Our department has three fully equipped, monitored beds available in this unit. Patients are cared for here by a specialized medical team with expertise in anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care medicine. As soon as their condition allows, patients are transferred to standard beds in the orthopedic department.
