Waiting Times
We believe that every patient should have prompt access to treatment, and therefore we strive to minimize waiting times for planned surgeries. Most procedures are scheduled without unnecessary delay, ensuring that treatment can provide relief from discomfort and facilitate a return to normal life as soon as possible.
Arthroscopic procedures are performed within 3 to 5 weeks of the initial visit to our outpatient clinic. Total joint replacements (TEP) are typically scheduled within 4 to 5 months, while other planned procedures are performed, on average, within 1 to 2 months.
Through careful coordination of outpatient services, operating theaters, and subsequent care, we are able to offer significantly shorter waiting times than is customary in this field. An additional benefit is the option for seamless continuation of post-operative care within our modernly equipped rehabilitation department, located directly within the hospital, which significantly streamlines the entire treatment process.
Rehabilitation Care
Patients interested in inpatient rehabilitation treatment can receive it directly within our hospital, at the Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine, through a transfer from our orthopedic department.
The Rehabilitation Department offers comprehensive rehabilitation programs specifically designed to maximize the recovery of the musculoskeletal system and facilitate patients' swift return to their daily lives. Further information on rehabilitation care is available on this page.
Orthopedic Department Facilities
Our operating theaters are equipped to the highest possible standard, allowing us to perform a wide range of arthroscopic and endoprosthetic procedures using the latest techniques and materials. This enables our leading specialists to provide patients with maximally safe, effective, and minimally invasive treatment options.
Patients have access to comprehensive diagnostic services directly within our hospital, including X-ray, sonography, and CT scans.
With our expert team, state-of-the-art equipment, and a holistic, individualized approach, we are committed to helping you achieve the best possible treatment outcomes. We value the trust that numerous elite athletes have already placed in us and are pleased to offer you premium care of the highest standard.
Rooms
The department offers standard double or triple rooms, along with one premium single room. Each room is equipped with new electric adjustable beds and bedside tables.
Immediately after surgery, patients are transferred to a recovery room, where they remain under constant supervision and monitoring.
Following major joint replacements or in cases of more severe trauma, patients are initially admitted to the intensive care unit (MOJIP) after surgery. This unit provides our department with three fully equipped, monitored beds. Patients receive care from a specialized medical team with expertise in anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive medicine. As soon as their medical condition permits, patients are transferred to the standard beds of the orthopedic department.
