Parking

If you're planning to drive to Na Františku Hospital, we have a few tips on where to park.

Patients and visitors to the hospital can park for free on Dušní Street in the marked spaces along the hospital wall.

To park, you must pick up a parking pass and place it in a visible location behind your windshield. You can obtain the pass at the gatehouse located behind the entrance gate to the hospital grounds on Dušní Street.

The number of parking spaces is limited. These spaces are intended for short-term parking only, for the time strictly necessary to undergo an outpatient examination or treatment, visit the pharmacy, or visit a patient in the inpatient ward.

One parking space is reserved for individuals with a ZTP parking permit at the main entrance to the hospital. Two additional parking spaces are located on Dušní Street in the designated patient parking area along the wall of the hospital grounds.

If you want to be sure of finding a parking spot, use the OLD TOWN PARKING underground parking garage near the Rudolfinum. You can reserve a parking spot online and get a 10% discount on the first 6 hours of parking. Instructions on how to redeem the discount coupon and make a reservation can be found here.

The parking lot is monitored 24/7 by a CCTV system, and staff are on site. An elevator and restrooms are also available.

You can park here even without a reservation, but in that case, you won't be eligible for the discount.

From the parking lot, it’s a 5-minute walk to the hospital along the riverfront, past the Law School and the Fairmont Hotel.

If you do not want to or cannot walk from the parking lot to the hospital, we recommend taking bus line 207. The Staroměstská stop is located across from the Rudolfinum, near the Museum of Decorative Arts. Get off at the next stop, Nemocnice Na Františku, which is right next to the hospital. You can purchase a ticket online, for example through the Lítačka app.

Another option is to use short-term paid parking in the designated parking zones around the hospital. The nearest spots are on Dušní Street near the President Hotel (orange zone with a parking meter). The surrounding streets are mostly blue zones, where you can pay for parking for a limited time using one of the parking apps.

Information about parking options in the zones can be found here.

For extended parking in the event of hospitalization (1 day or more), we recommend using the OLD TOWN PARKING underground parking garage near the Rudolfinum, or other private parking lots in the vicinity of the hospital. You can also use the city’s P+R park-and-ride facilities, which are connected to public transportation.

You can find information about parking options in Prague here.
